I'm giving 3.5, rounding up to 4, stars because it was hard to put the book down, and I did enjoy the story. The sexy parts were very sexy too 🔥🔥
However. There's a huge lack of talking. It feels like there's almost all descriptive paragraphs. The lack of discussion leaves me wanting more. I don't have a connection with the characters. There's also a lack of the characters seeming to think deeply about anything emotional - they literally shy away from any of that. There is no real deep discussion on it either. It kind of just happens that they're together. Though the point of view it's written from is a big part of why this happens.
The discussions that are had are pretty enjoyable, though, as they kind of trade snide remarks. Made me laugh so obviously a good book.
The storyline was great, and it was fast-paced enough that it kept me intrigued to find out what's next. It's worth reading to see if it's for you or not!
