So, I love that it's a curvy woman with a shifter, but I was disappointed that there isn't much description of her beyond "curvy" and "thick thighs". I would have liked to know approximate size of clothing, because even though clothing varies depending on where you get it from, a number can still give a somewhat accurate depiction of someone's size. Or it does for me.
This is supposed to be a 'love at first sight' kind of novel, which it does meet that, or at least lust at first sight. You get a feeling for the characters and what they look like, but you don't get an in-depth look at the town or the house. Totally fair, focus on the characters, but sometimes the scenery and that can give us a bigger connection to the character. I'd like to have read about Daisy exploring the town, possibly going to the bakery. Stuff like that.
And although Daisy tells Morgan her back story, you never hear him tell her his. The author gives some of his background at the beginning but beyond that you don't. We get to know him from the chapters it's kind of from his point of view, seeing his emotions and some of his thoughts, but you don't get as in depth with him as you do with Daisy. That's how I was left feeling, anyways.
The book is 57 pages, something I hadn't realized until I read the book in half an hour, but it does give you some good depth and insight to the characters. I was left wanting more world development and more one on one interaction of the main characters getting to know one another.
Overall, I rate it 3/5, with maybe a 1 for spice level. There's discussion and some description, but nothing that goes into super detail.
